Pool service software for companies that run weekly routes

Bloombilt Dispatch puts every tech's route on one board. Weekly pools repeat on their own, a sick day gets covered with a few drags, each visit ends with a timestamped photo, and finished work goes out as an invoice through the QuickBooks you already run.

A pool route breaks the morning someone calls in

Forty pools a tech is a normal week. When one of them is out, those pools have to go somewhere today, and the route that lived in a spreadsheet or one person's head has to be rebuilt by phone before the trucks leave.

The other problem shows up later. A customer says nobody came, and you have nothing to point to. Fixing both doesn't take a bigger platform. It takes every route on one screen, stops you can move with a drag, and a photo with a time and place on every visit.

What Dispatch does

  • Every tech's route on one board, by day, by person or on the map
  • Weekly, every-two-weeks or monthly pools that repeat on their own, with a season start and end
  • Stops dragged between techs or days, and the techs see the change on their phones
  • Gate codes and access notes on every visit
  • Skipped stops with a reason (gate locked, dog out, nobody home) that the office sees right away
  • Timestamped photos on every finished visit, and a visit record per address
  • Finished work built into an invoice and sent through your QuickBooks

Dispatch doesn't quote, take payments or run payroll. It covers the work between winning a job and getting paid for it, and your books stay in QuickBooks.

When pool-specific software fits better

Dispatch doesn't record chemical readings, track chemicals used per pool, or run a customer portal with service reports. If the water chemistry log is the center of how you run, Skimmer and Pool Brain are built around it. GorillaDesk also serves pool companies and is in our roundup of Jobber alternatives.

Common questions

Does it handle weekly pool routes?

Yes. Each pool is a recurring job that repeats every week, every two weeks or every month on the days you pick, with a season start and end date so summer-only pools stop on their own. The visits land on the board and you assign them to a tech, then drag the order of their day.

A tech called in sick. How fast can I cover their route?

Open the board, pick their day, and drag their stops onto whoever has room, or onto another day. You can see each tech's route on the map while you do it. Everyone whose day changed gets a notification on their phone, so nobody needs a text.

Can I prove the pool was serviced?

Every finished stop has photos stamped with where and when they were taken, and each address keeps a visit record of when the tech arrived, when they left and who it was. You can make a stop require an after photo, so it can't be marked done without one.

Does it log chemical readings?

No. There's a note on every stop and photos of the water, but no chlorine, pH or dosing fields and no chemical log. If you need readings recorded per visit, Skimmer and Pool Brain are built around that.

What about gates, dogs and locked yards?

Gate codes and access notes live on the address, and the tech sees them on every visit. If they can't get in, they skip the stop with a reason, like gate locked or dog out, and the office sees it right away.

How much does it cost?

A flat monthly price quoted for your company, not per tech. Pool companies add help every spring, and the bill shouldn't go up each time you hire for the season.

How long until I'm using it?

Most customers are live in two to three weeks from signed agreement.

Will this work with the tools we already use?

Yes. Our products connect to the systems your team already uses: Google Workspace, CRMs, calendars, Slack, email, and other common business tools.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel anytime with reasonable notice. We'll export your data and hand back anything we run for you, like a website or phone number. The rest stays yours.

Where does our data live?

Your data stays yours. It's encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated from every other customer, and never used to train AI models, ours or the third-party services we use to deliver the product. Subprocessor list available on request. Full details in our privacy policy.
